Growing up in a mid-century modernist home and spending fifteen years as a primary-school teacher, gave me the tools to appreciate good design, develop an understanding of light and space and have a meticulous and methodical approach to bringing an interior or garden design to completion. I love to work in established homes, often starting with one treasured piece that tells a story. I create beautiful spaces incorporating a mix of old and loved furniture, combined with carefully selected new pieces to enhance the room, creating a sophisticated modern twist. My garden designs are mostly formal Mediterranean or English, incorporating layers of hedging and deciduous and fruiting trees.
